A Package from Poland

Yesterday my doorbell rang, and the postman stood holding a large mailing envelope requiring my signature.  When I looked at the return address I knew exactly what was inside the envelope.

On the recent Michigan Tea Tour one of the participants [Teresa from Ohio] carried a beautiful blue and white felt teapot purse.

She ordered it from an Etsy vendor and graciously provided the information to all of us. I wasn't able to research it until I got home.  When I went to the website an entirely different teapot purse was pictured.

I contacted the vendor and she said she could make me a purse like Teresa's if I wasn't in a hurry because she was busy making items for an upcoming fashion show.  She contacted me on Nov. 4th and told me she had the purse done and was ready to mail it.  Payment was arranged and my purse arrived on the 15th.  The picture below doesn't do it justice, but it gives you an idea.

In case you're wondering the cost of the purse, it was $69 plus shipping [$6.00], and well worth it. Maybe it could be your Christmas present! ;-)

Below is a copy of Galina's business card for those who might be interested.  Tell her Phyllis and Teresa sent you!

She lives in Kolobrzeg, Poland - a Polish city on the south coast of the Baltic Sea.  She enclosed the picture postcard with the purse.

Thank you, Galina, from a very happy customer in the United States of America!
